Change to monthly gym passes
- Last Updated on 03 April 2013
Monthly gym passes are changing, from the 1st April 2013 the £75.00 and £60.00 student gym pass will only cover up to three class visits per week. We now have a new Gold Gym Pass which covers unlimited use of the gym for just £5.00 more per month.
We hope our members understand that KO is still one of the best value gyms in London with undoubtably the best trainers and reputation in the UK. KO has fixed its prices for the last two years but unfortunalely rates and energy price increases force us to pass on this small increase in price. PAYG prices remain fixed as they have for the last 3 years.

Telegraph newspaper goes to KO
- Last Updated on 18 March 2013
An interesting article at the Telegraph Newspaper, we put one of their journalists through his paces with World Champion Amanda Kelly and Kru Richmond Annan in East London.
'Don’t leave the gym without telling me, or I’ll think you’re being sick somewhere.” With these words, Rich Annan, our 28-year-old Thai boxing instructor, formally declares the class open.
We begin with some stretches. This is the beginners’ class at the KO Gym in Bethnal Green, east London, and we are a motley crew. There is a small and very serious woman; a cheery Swiss student; an overweight young man with a cold; a stressed-out-looking lawyer; and me, a less-fit-than-he-thought Telegraph writer.
This lack of fitness soon becomes apparent. After the stretches, we move on to strength building: press-ups, squats, and lunges. These are standard exercises but they are given a new meaning by the boxing gloves and pads piled in the corner, the punchbags along the wall, and the boxing ring on the other side of the room.

Greg and Amanda win American fans
- Last Updated on 02 December 2012
Greg and Amanda won over the American public last night/this morning out in California. Greg cemented his place amongst the very best in the sport by beating his opponent Noun by TKO. Amanda won her grudge match against Julie "Queen of Muay Thai" Kitchen by split decision in a fight many saw as far more one sided than the judges gave credit for.
